hmmm, i am finally here to finish up my blogpost
on my birthday celebrations :)

CELEBRATION WITH MY SOCIOLOGY MATES
We went to Holland V to dine at Gyu Kaku.
It is a Japanese restuarant that is wellknown for its BBQ beef!
Unlike Seoul Garden
where food is bbq-ed over a metal plate on the table,
Gyu Kaku uses a charcoal burner placed below a metal griller
so the beef cooked retains much of its seasoning flavour
and taste superb!!
Gyu Kaku also serves ramen, but its not really nice.
Perhaps its because i tasted better ramen at Marutama in Central :)
anyways, Gyu Kaku would be an ideal place to go to
if u want to savour authentic japanese bbq beef.
Location: to the left of Wala Wala in Holland V,
Pricing: $18 - $60++ for a plate of beef to bbq

surprise surprise that my friends made
when i went for lecture :D

charcoal burner used to cook the beef!

ramen from Gyu Kaku that is served in stone bowls.

the chocolate birthday cake my friends bought!

The presents that Deanne, Sharon, Harrison, Isaac & JiRen
bought for me :
-Paul Frank Tanktop set
-Paul Frank necklace
-Birthday card and photograph
-lovely chocolate birthday cake!
